Home Remedy for Cellulite - Honey Massage

Author: Yulia Berry

Honey massage is one of the best and most effective remedies for cellulite. It has been tested by many women of different ages and they all have had great success with it.

Honey massage is an amazing rejuvenating treatment that also helps to cleanse your body from the toxic cellular waste products and lose inches around your thighs.

Cover your problem zone with a thin layer of honey (you will need about 2 tea spoons of honey for your hips and buttocks). Press your clean DRY hands to your skin covered with honey and tear them away.

Easy at first, tearing away your hands will become more difficult with every move because the tension force increases.

The massage is slightly painful, yet very effective. When you press your hands on honey and "unglue" them, you get a vacuum effect that destroys cellulite.

Honey massage improves blood circulation in your skin tissue and muscles and has a positive effect on your entire nervous system.

After the massage your skin should be red with a burning sensation. Also, you can get small bruises that will go away fast. Continue until honey turns white under your hands.

The white pellets hold the cellular waste products and excess salts that have been released from your body during the massage.

The total time of the massage should be 5 to 10 minutes. Then wash your skin with warm water and follow with your body moisturizer or anti cellulite cream.

Do this massage every other day for 1 month (you will need 15 procedures). You will start seeing the result after only the second procedure.

Another way to massage your cellulite zone is to use a cup or a glass jar. Cover your problem zone with a thin layer of honey and apply the cup to your skin using circular motions.

Your skin is going to be sucked into the cup and you will get a vacuum effect. Tear away the cup from your body and apply the cup again to your skin using circular motions.

If your skin is not sucking into the cup in some places, just press the cup to your body and push more skin under the cup using your finger.

Do not overdo it because this massage can leave bruises on your skin. Do this massage at least twice a week for 4-5 weeks.

Warning: Do not try honey massage, if you have varicose veins on the cellulite spot, you are pregnant or you are allergic to honey.

Cellulite - Causes And Home Remedies

Author: Dr Easton Patrick

Cellulite, a term coined in the 1920's, describes a problem associated with skin topography. It is harmless but yet a problem, for it causes much embarrassment for many.

When fat or lipid collects in fat cells, the enlarged cells group together and bulge out exerting pressure and dispersing and distorting connective tissues underneath the skin.

This gives the skin a puckered, dimply, nodular and orange peel-like appearance. People of all ages can develop cellulite. Both men and women can fall prey to cellulite.

But cellulite is more evident in women than in men, for in women, the distribution of fat cells or adipose tissue and connective tissue, differs from that in men.

Buttocks, thighs, hip, breasts, legs, stomach and upper arms are zones where cellulite deposits usually occur. Cellulite deposits are similar to any other fat. The factors influencing cellulite development may be listed as follows:

1. Heredity
2. Obesity
3. Stress
4. Smoking
5. Alcoholism
6. Pregnancy
7. Harsh massages
8. Hormonal fluctuations
9. Faulty food habit
10. Sedentary lifestyle
11. Aging
12. Skin thickness
13. Amount and distribution of body fat

Home Remedies for Cellulite

Cellulite Reduction with Massage Oil

Author: Robert Palmer

There are a variety of diverse oils one can use. Most professionals in the beauty and therapeutic business use some sort of vegetable oils, organic if at all possible, such as almond, olive or some even a high-quality grade of every-day vegetable oil, perhaps with a touch of Eucalyptus oil to enhance the therapeutic qualities..

Football and sports clinics have been using this mixture for years with splendid results in therapeutic applications. But is there a better ready made massage oil people can buy? I've used a lot of special products during the years, but recently I've stumbled on a little beauty!

Not only does it provide a great medium for massage but the oil contains a bombardment of essential oils which claim to have fantastic properties. Well eastern civilizations have used them for over 5000 years, so something must be right!

The oil is produced in Australia and only the best ingredients are used. Mayaltha Better Slim Accelerator oil has the added benefit of helping reduce the effects of cellulite and smooth and refine both the skin and body contours.

There are six pure essential oils in Mayaltha Better Slim Accelerator oil and is ideal for use in beauty clinics to by and large tone the body. Then again it's great to use at home or as a added supplement in the bath. Only a couple of drops are necessary.

For the greatest body sculpting effect I've found that if you massage into the legs, stomach and butt at night-time and leave on overnight the skin seems more refined and smooth. Better still get your partner to give a general relaxation massage with Mayaltha Better Slim Accelerator oil you'll both feel the benefit! The massage oil is packed with essential oils such as:

Geranium Oil which helps to stimulates circulation, and eliminate toxins from the body and helps to relieve excess fluid retention. There are also claims of antiseptic qualities.

Lemon Oil is known to assist the body in it's natural detoxification process and cleans the skin. Lemon Oil possesses natural antibacterial properties as well.

Vitamin E which is derived from the vegetable oil is a highly effective antioxidant that protects the skin and helps prevent the hardening of fatty cell membranes. It also encourages smooth firm skin and assists in wound healing and minimization of scars.

The plant-based Mayaltha slim accelerator body contour oil was developed to refine and smooth and lift your body contours and is suitable for both men and women. It's ideal for body builders or any-one who wants to improve the condition of your body.

The ingredients are not just shoddy and nasty and have six 100% pure essential oils. We all know how expensive they are! They include: Macadamia Nut Oil - which is known to protect, soothe, and moisturize the skin.

Ricinus Communis (Castor) Oil which absorbs, nourishes, moisturizes the body.

Lemon Oil - Tones, detoxifies, soothes.

Ylang Ylang Oil - Tones, regenerates, balances.

Geranium Oil - Stimulates, drains, tones

Rosemary Oil - Regenerates, revitalizes, moisturizes with regular use I've found that Mayaltha Better Slim Accelerator oil helps diminish the appearance of cellulite.

Firms and tones the body contours and helps to regain and maintain a lean, slim and refined silhouette. I've also found the active ingredients helps to erase unsightly blemishes and restore the skin to a smooth, firm and healthy condition. The Mayaltha Better Slim Accelerator oil also seems to assist in the skins natural curative process and the reduction of scars.

This is no poor quality and nasty massage oil and seems very beneficial to the skin and body. If you are looking to buy massage oil for your massage business or just to use at home this is definably one massage oil you should consider.

If you want to get a bargain price Ebay is worth looking at. I recently bought a wholesale pack at 60% off the retail price and I've noticed one seller sells individual items at more then 50% off the retail price or even more

This oil is ideal for massage therapists or individual private home use.

Bath Recipes to Remove Cellulite

By Jeff Donaven

When you see your skin having a cottage cheese or orange peel look, this is called cellulite and it is caused by fat pockets underneath the skin.

This happens due to genetics, absence of exercise, a poor diet, caffeine and too much alcohol intake. This skin condition does not have a cure but its appearance can be lessened. One effective way is by using certain bath recipes.

One good recipe to remove the dimpling appearance of this skin condition is a milk bath which requires milk and cinnamon oil. Pour 5 drops of the oil into half a glass of warm milk and add this to a tub filled with very hot water. Sit inside the tub for 5 minutes.

Anther bath recipe is an essential oil treatment which should be initially massaged onto the parts of the body that are dimpled using a soft brush or body scrub. These essential oils can be that of juniper, rosemary, grapefruit or orange.

Fill the tub with warm water and pour three drops of either grapefruit or orange oil and the oils of juniper and rosemary. Get inside the tub for a good bath that would help reduce these fatty deposits under the skin.

A sea bath recipe is also effective and can be made using algae mineral bath packet. This can be bought in health stores or spa shops.

This will lessen the appearance of wrinkled skin due to its vitamin E content and essential amino acids that destroys body fat. Pour this mix on a hot bath and follow the instructions. Get inside the tub and stay there fore half an hour to help remove cellulite.

Another effective bath recipe is fresh seaweed. This can be taken from ocean water and not on the beach. Place this inside your tub filled with warm water and then take a nice dip. This will also get rid of harmful toxins from the body.

After your bath, take a shower so as to get rid of the toxins that may have come out of your body. This shall help eliminate the appearance of wrinkled skin. If you are allergic to seaweed, this bath recipe is nor for you. Remember to take away the seaweeds when you drain the tub so as to avoid clogging.

You can also get a few drops of the extract of hawthorne berry and some bath salts and add them to warm water in your bathtub. Relax in your tub and let hawthorne berry improve blood circulation. A good blood flow will aid in removing fatty deposits from under the skin and take them to the bloodstream to be flushed away from the body.

Try any of these bath recipes to remove cellulite and have a good body.

Used Coffee Grounds For Cellulite - The Caffeine Fix For Cellulite

Author: Cellulite Advisor

Cellulite is a condition whereas the skin dimples leaving an orange peel appearance of the skin. It is commonly found on the thigh, belly and buttocks and is visibly more common in women than men because of the way women store fat. Furthermore, while weight may play a factor it is not always the case. Other contributors of cellulite are poor diet, water retention and a sedentary lifestyle. That is why even thin people get cellulite. Genetics is also a factor, if you mother had cellulite; chances are you are predisposed to get it too. Used Coffee Grounds For Cellulite

Cellulite is caused by a breakdown of the fibers that connect the skin and the layer of fat beneath it. Thus as the fibers of the skin breakdown the fatty deposits (cellulite) protrudes out through the skin.

Searching for creams and lotions to combat cellulite has been ongoing for decades. Recently new anti-cellulite creams have come into the markets that contain caffeine and they have shown actual results. Caffeine in skin care products actually dilates blood vessels thus increasing both the speed and volume of blood flow, reduces water retention which pushes the fat against the skin and provides a more toned and firm appearance.

Massage is an excellent home remedy for ailments and in skin care. A massage improves blood flow and circulation and has a positive effect on breaking down fat cells. This combined with caffeine has shown a significant impact on reducing the appearance of cellulite.

In the United States alone, almost $10 million dollars were spent on anti-cellulite products. A year or so ago, a scientist in Austria invented pantyhose infused with caffeine microcapsules. These panty hose supposedly boost metabolism and burn fat. From what I have heard there was a phenomenal response and they sold 20,000 units in the products first 18 months with less than 6 returns on the product.

When you are ready to fight back on cellulite there are a few good products on the market that are caffeine infused or you can make your own coffee scrub. Below are a couple of recipes to get you started on your cellulite treatment.

Cellulite coffee treatment recipe
1 Cup of warm freshly brewed coffee grounds
1 Egg white
1 Tablespoon of olive oil or emu oil
Combine the above ingredients to form a paste. Massage the paste to the cellulite areas of your body in a gentle circular motion then rinse. Apply the paste to the cellulite areas on your body. You can also apply the paste and then wrap the area in Saran Wrap and leave on for 5 to 10 minutes. Massage in and rinse. For best results use three times a week.

Recipe 2
One quarter cup warm used coffee grounds
1 tablespoon olive oil
Mix ingredients to form a paste and using your hands or a loofah mitt massage onto cellulite area then rinse. Repeat a couple of times a week

Recipe 3
Mix coffee grounds with your body wash or body lotion. Let set a few minuets then rinse. Apply daily.

Variations: use freshly ground coffee beans for increased caffeine benefits. For those that do not brew coffee consider instant caffeinated coffee.

If you are worried about coffee grounds going down the drain, place a coffee filter or small drain over the shower drain.

Aromatherapy Cellulite Remedies

Author: vitalgirl

Aromatherapy Cellulite Remedies Aromatherapy oils have many therapeutic benefits that extend beyond them improving mood by simply smelling nice! It is these benefits that can be combined with self-massage to improve the appearance of cellulite.

Whilst even the most expensive store-bought creams and treatments won't eliminate cellulite permanently, the appearance of cellulite can be improved with regular treatments, and this extends to in-home remedies. This article will discuss why self-massage can help, and what aromatherapy oils and carrier bases lend themselves to this home spa experience.

With a little daily persistence, these nurturing remedies can save you some money too! There are three essential oils that are particularly recommended for cellulite treatment. These are juniper, lavender, and rosemary. Juniper and rosemary are both diuretic oils that stimulate the flow of blood and lymph, improve circulation, and reduce puffiness, swelling, and water retention.

These qualities are important in relation to cellulite when you consider that it is the result of fluid accumulation in the fatty layer of the skin. This happens when there are problems in the microcirculation, and its' believed to be associated with our hormones - especially estrogen. Lavender is a beautifully scented oil that is relaxing and great for stress.

But it also has benefits for the skin. It is toning, and has a revitalizing effect. When these oils are combined with a therapeutic carrier oil, they can be massaged into the skin for a good alternative cellulite remedy. Carrier oils are important when using aromatherapy.

Not only do they have a nourishing effect on their own, but some oils can be irritating when applied directly to the skin. This is especially true of sensitive skin types. Another point to consider is that the essential oils are usually quite thin compared to regular oil, and more expensive when you compare volume. The carrier oil allows the essential oil to be massaged, rather than being absorbed too quickly.

And massage is integral to using aromatherapy effectively when it comes to cellulite. Massage is well known in helping with circulation. Certain types of massage are specialized in improving the flow of lymph. Called lymphatic drainage, this massage is characterized by very soft strokes that go in certain directions associated with the body's circulatory system.

In contrast, some types of cellulite treatments that mimic massage in different ways - by incorporating suction cups and other tools - draw on the tradition of deep tissue massage. The upshot of all this is that people wanting to try this form of home massage have a choice in what type of strokes and pressure they will use. There are a number of different carrier oils that can be used.

These include rosehip, jojoba, grape seed, and avocado oil. Some of these oils are generally used in smaller amounts, so a mixture is actually good. * Avocado - this oil penetrates deeply, thus it will carry the essential oils more deeply into the skin, increasing their effectiveness. It also has a softening effect, and tends to be mixed with other carrier oils.

 * Grape seed oil has a mild astringent effect, which is good for toning the skin. Also quite nourishing, grape seed has linoleic acid in it, an essential fatty acid. Essential fatty acids are important for healthy cell membranes. Grape seed oil can be used in larger quantities, and is often used as a base with other carrier oils mixed in.

 * Rosehip also contains essential fatty acids, this time GLA. Whilst generally used as an anti aging oil on the face, it is a good source of vitamin C which is important in skin health.

 * Jojoba - though actually a liquid wax, jojoba is similar in structure to the oils in our skin, and has antioxidant properties. It is more expensive and is absorbed quickly, making it best in mixture of carrier oils when used in an anti-cellulite massage.

Aromatherapy cellulite remedies can be a lovely experience, providing benefits on many levels. As well as improving circulation and skin tone, with the use of massage they can help women improve the appearance of cellulite. Their scent can also make this a pampering and destressing daily experience.

The Caffeine Fix for Cellulite

by: onimcaWalters5

One of the easiest "get rid of cellulite" home remedies you can try is a cellulite massage oil. Just make sure that you apply the formula at least twice a day... and do your best to not skip any. When you apply this oil you will notice firmer and smoother skin. You're going to need three things:

1. Geranium Oil

2. Almond Oil

3. Juniper Berry Oil

The preparation of these is super simple. Just take 2 tablespoons of almond oil, five drops geranium oil, and five drops juniper berry oil and mix them together. Then use this mixture to massage your problem areas. Smooth the oil into your skin in a circular motion using enough pressure so that it feels like a massage.

My other favorite "get rid of cellulite" home remedies use coffee grounds. Coffee, when applied externally, helps draw blood to your skin and improve circulation.

If you apply coffee to your problem areas you will notice your skin get smoother and tighter. Just be careful if you're sensitive to caffeine... your body will absorb it and give you a buzz. If you're not used to it can be quite a shock to your system.

This method is also really simple... but it can get really messy. All you do is take warm coffee grounds and massage them into your problem area.

Leave them on there for about 15 minutes or so and then rinse them off. If I were you I would leave a towel under me while I was doing this, as coffee tends to get everywhere.

You can combine these two get rid of cellulite home remedies. I like to take the oil mixture and mix it with the coffee grounds to make a paste like substance... it's a little less messy.

These home remedies do work... but they are messy and inconvenient. I've always found that it's easier and just as effective for me to just apply a cellulite cream. They smell better, they are more convenient, and they are proven to work.
