To many people the idea of coconut oil as medicine is somewhat exotic. Coconut oil products have also found their uses in women's health products. Coconut oil works well as a personal lubricant, especially for women who are sensitive to certain other lubricant products. It can also find use as an ingredient in fighting yeast infections and other women's health problems.

Because it works so well in promoting hair health, coconut oil pet products have also hit the market. They are ideal for making your animals coat extra glossy. They can also sooth some of the pain and discomfort associated with flea and other bug bites.
